LOUDON, N.H. (July 14, 2005) – Qualifying for the New England 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at New Hampshire International Speedway cancelled because of inclement weather.The 40 car starting field was set by the NASCAR rule book. Current NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour point leader Ted Christopher of Plainville, Conn., and winner of both NHIS series races in 2004, will start from the pole. Chuck Hossfeld of Buffalo, N.Y. will flank Christopher on the front row. Tony Hirschman, winner of the last series race in Jennerstown, Pa. and Eric Beers will make up row number two.
The 100 lap race, the 7th of the 2005 season, is scheduled to get the green at 1:30. p.m. on Friday, July 15.
