Off the Island: Weekend Recap- Apr. 15

With only one week to go before the first practice at Riverhead Raceway, local Long Island drivers are still venturing off the island in order to satisfy their need for speed. Drivers ventured out to Connecticut’s Thompson International Speedway and Waterford Speedbowl as well to New York’s Bethel Motor Speedway and Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway.  Two of our own scored big. Dave Brigati won the 30-lap Late Model race at Mountain. Brendon Bock won the Legend car event at Mountain and came in fourth at Waterford.
