Off the Island: Weekend Recap- Apr. 22

Even though Riverhead Raceway hosted its first practice this past Saturday, April 20^th, many local Long Island drivers still ventured off the island to satisfy their need for speed. Many drivers traveled to Connecticut’s Waterford Speedbowl, Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway and New York’s Bethel Motor Speedway. One of our own scored big. Jim Sylvester won the Legend car event at Bethel Motor Speedway on Sunday April, 21^st.
