10 to Go with Jason Agugliaro
This week’s 10 to Go is with driver of the No. 69 Modified Jason Agugliaro.
When did you first start racing?
Jason Agugliaro: I was 13, I believe.
What were you racing when you started out?
Agugliaro: Go-karts.
How many types of race cars have you raced over the years?
Agugliaro: Two types of trucks – Super Pro Trucks and Modifieds.
Which one was your favorite?
Agugliaro: Modifieds.
What track do you want to race at the most that you have never been to?
Agugliaro: Bristol (Motor Speedway, TN).
Do you plan on going there any time in the near future?
Agugliaro: The thing with that is you need to run a few bigger tracks prior to running it. We’ll see what happens. I’d like to though.
Do you have any superstitions or routines that you do before you start at race?
Agugliaro: Not really.
Racing against the Tour drivers, what is it like for you to get that experience?
Agugliaro: It’s pretty good. It’s fun to try and run with these guys. It’s like money in the bank for me.
What has been your favorite moment?
Agugliaro: Probably my first win. It came at the last race of last year. It was a big moment for my team and me.
Have you ever suffered any injuries while racing?
Agugliaro: Nope, thankfully.
Do you have a nickname?
Agugliaro: Yeah. It’s “no joke.” It’s exactly what it means.
