Due to Weather Riverhead Raceway Postpones Opening Night Events

Due to the morning drizzle and potential rain later in the afternoon, Riverhead Raceway has decided to postpone their opening night event to next week May 14, 2016.

“Everything that was scheduled for tonight (May 7th) will be happening next week,” said Riverhead Raceway GM John Ellwood, “Fireworks and all.”

The seven divisions that were going to take the track opening night now have one more week to fine tune their cars for next week.

On May 14, the pit gates will open at 12:00 pm with practice at 1:30 pm. General admission gates will open at 4:00 pm with heat races at 4:30 pm and the main events to follow.
