Thompson NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Race Rescheduled For Thursday

Due to the forecast for Wednesday that includes extensive rain and a flash flood watch, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park has been rescheduled for Thursday.

The Budweiser King of Beers 150 will be the eighth race of the 2014 Whelen Modified Tour season, and the second of three dates at Thompson. Thursday will mark the tour’s 125th all-time event at the high-banked .625-mile oval.

Thursday’s track schedule will remain the same as it was prior to the postponement. Green flag for the Budweiser King of Beers 150 is slated for approximately 8:45 p.m.
