10 to Go is back with Super Pro Truck driver, Frank Dumicich Sr.
How long have you been racing?
Dumicich: I’ve been racing for 18 years.
What got you started?
Dumicich: I started racing Chargers for about 5-6 years; I stopped when my wife was pregnant with my son [Frank Jr.], and then picked it back up again. Then I started running the Super Pro Trucks the second year they had them at Riverhead Raceway.
What is your most memorable moment?
Dumicich: Finishing second to both of my kids [Erin and Frank Jr.].
Do you have any superstitions or rituals that you do before each race?
Dumicich: Not any I can think of. I have something about getting to the checked flag on my dashboard.
When did your kids start racing?
Dumicich: Erin started when she was 8 years old; Frank was around the same age.
How hard is it to drive with your family?
Dumicich: We all say that I’ll run as hard as you race me on the track.
What’s the one thing you like about racing?
Dumicich: Just having fun and making left turns.
