Joe’s Garage Signs on as Sponsor for 2013

Riverhead Raceway officials announced today that Joe’s Garage, a restaurant
which features a car theme is slated to open this June in downtown
Riverhead, has signed on as a major sponsor of the 2013 NASCAR Whelen
All-American Series at Barbara & Jim Cromarty’s quarter mile oval. The Joe’s
Garage marketing program at the track is multi pronged and includes
sponsoring the NASCAR Modifieds for the 2013 season.

Located on the ground floor of the state of the art Summerwind Building on
Peconic Avenue, Joe’s Garage will feature an American Fare menu with price
point locals can afford. Ray Dickhoff of Joe’s also disclosed, “We will be
buying as much products as we can from all the local growers, as well as
local micro-brew companies”. Joe’s Garage will have a 3,200 square foot
indoor dining area with an additional 1,400 square feet of outside dining,
live entertainment is also planned.

Joe’s Garage steps up to the plate at Riverhead Raceway with the seasonal
NASCAR Modified sponsorship adding purse money weekly to the class. Saturday
August 10th will find Joe’s Garage backing the entire night of racing at the
track on a program that features Megasaurus. Joe’s Garage will sponsor the
NASCAR Modified, Late Model, Charger, Super Pro Truck, Legend Race Car and
4-Cylinder Demolition Derby events. Joe’s Garage has also signed on with the
track’s 2013 Billboard program in 2 very prominent locations, one on the
illuminated message center in turn two, as well as with a large sign in turn
four.

track facilities manager noted, “we feel with their car theme restaurant and
the NASCAR racing and family entertainment at the track it was a perfect
fit.”.

The 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at Riverhead Raceway continues
this Saturday evening May 18th featuring the Cromarty Cup 20 for the Figure
Eight stock cars. The NASCAR Modifieds, Chargers, Blunderbusts, Super Pro
Trucks and Legend Race Cars will fill out the race program that starts at
5:30 pm.
