Off the Island: Weekend Recap- July 15

A handful of local Long Island drivers ventured off the island this past weekend in order to satisfy their need for speed. Some traveled to Connecticut’s Waterford Speedbowl for both their Wednesday and Friday night events as well as New Jersey’s Wall Stadium Speedway. Two of our own won big at Wall Stadium Speedway. Brain Doyle of Coram won the 1st Limited Late Model feature event and Ken Matlach of Levittown won the 2nd Limited Late Model feature event.
