1) DAN
TURBUSH
#8
Carpet Express Pontiac |
In 2004, the mailman delivered the goods.
Turbush brought in 2 wins in 16 races, with 9 top fives
and 14 top tens. Some nights he was good, but the other
nights it was pure brilliance to watch Danny race around
the bullring. The one driver who knows how to use his
front bumper is Danny Turbush, hands down and he earned
his grade and his championship in 2004! |

2) JACK
ORLANDO
#99
Glamour Transport. Dodge |
Once Jack Orlando gets in
front of the field, it is impossible to pass him for the
lead! Jack Orlando knows how to use every groove at
Riverhead Raceway and use it well. In 2004, he debuted a
new racecar and later a new body and he looked amazing
most nights. Orlando brought home 2 wins in 15 races, 7
top fives and 10 top tens. |

3) CHRIS
TURBUSH
#81 Spano Floors Pontiac |
Chris is by far the most improved
driver in any division in 2004. He equaled his win
record from the year before with one visit to
victory lane. But what was most improved was his
consistency from 2003. 6 top fives and 12 top tens
in 16 races is making him a championship contender,
one that his father may have to look out for. |

4) ROB
TRIBUZIO
#01 Prestigious Motors Chevrolet |
With pulling double
duty in the Chargers and Late Models, Rob had a
handful. Most have been a bit disappointed that the
team didn’t bring home a win, but he looked strong
from time to time. Rob did earn 5 top fives and 11
top tens in 16 races, but without a win and stronger
finishes, I couldn’t give a better grade. |

5) ERIC
LUTZ
#36 Marjam Supply Chevrolet |
After having 2 great
years in a row, Lutz seemed to take a step back from
his top form. Lutz still had a good year, but was
not a serious threat for the points lead. Lutz
finished a very respectable 5th in
points, showing his muscle with 8 top fives and 11
top tens in races. |

6) BRAD VAN
HOUTEN
#10 Riverhead Building Sply Chevy |
Brad looked strong in a
few races and it looked like he was about to break
out and become a top competitor for the win.
However, he seemed to get caught up in quite a few
accidents which hurt his performance. When the dust
settled Van Houten was left with 0 wins, but 4 top
fives and 11 top tens in 16 races. |

7) CHRIS
BEUTLER
#21 Spabco Racing Pontiac |
It seemed like the youngster was about
to take a huge leap into the points system and
contend for a few wins. However, 2004 seemed to be a
setback as his team struggled. Beutler wound up
with only 1 top five, but did have a respectable 12
top tens in 15 races. |

8) MIKE
BOLOGNA
#00 PCHS Racing Engines Chevy |
Bologna looked strong
in a few races but never took down a win in 2004.
Bologna also seemed to lack consistency as well; in
16 races he had only 4 top fives and 9 top tens. |

9) RUSTY
TURBUSH
#17x DebtCoach.com Pontiac |
It seems odd that Rusty
came in 9th in points. Early on in the
season, he had some major problems, but by midseason
he seemed back in form. He brought home 3 wins,
tying him with Robin Vollmoeller Sr. for most wins
in 2004! In 16 races he had 6 top fives and 9 top
tens. |

10)
CHRIS MCGUIRE
#89x Wrestling Cage Pontiac |
2004 seemed to be the
year that McGuire started to showed his muscle.
McGuire earned his first win in 2004 in a very
exciting race. At the end of the season he would
tally 5 top fives and 8 top tens in 16 races. |
